Thanksgiving is just around the corner and everyone in the office is already busy wrapping up their plans for that day.  Well, almost everyone anyway.  I think I may be the only one in the office that doesn't really make a big deal out of it considering it's not part of the customs I've been brought up to.   But I am looking forward to being able to stay in bed late on Thurday morning and have my own thanksgiving there for letting me get more than 8 hours of sleep.   Now, if only there'll be some turkey or at least anything to eat when I get out of bed, I would seriously consider that day a day to be thankful for.

Hong Kong, a guy named Chan Nai-min was convicted last October 24, 2005 of three charges of attempting to distribute three Hollywood films (Daredevil, Miss Congeniality, and Red Planet) using Bittorrent.

Sentencing was adjourned to November 7, while Chan is released on bail, it is possible to be sentenced a maximum of four year jail term.

This is good news for copyright owners at Honkong, but will this stop people from uploading and downloading files thru bittorrent?

In school, students are taught on how to make good presentations. The key in making one is to have images and short text on your slides. Moreover, the number of words and the font style and size matter in making effective presentations. Now, the art of making presentations is evolving, new ways of presentations are being developed. There are those who make movies for their presentations, while other uses the traditional PowerPoint in making slides. Allow me to introduce a new method of presentation called Takahashi method, named after Masayoshi Takahashi the creator of this method.

In the history of internet auction, eBay is considered among the pioneers. If amazon is the most reliable site in buying books and other stuffs in the internet, then eBay is the on to be relied on when it comes to online auctions.
