Chikka Asia Inc., a Philippine-based mobile messaging service will start its commercial operations in India next week. This is the beginning as they position itself to become the global service provider for overseas workers.

Chikka partnered with the tri-media giant India Times and as part of the their partnership, Chikka's "Txt Messenger" service will be bundled with offers of several wireless operators in India.

Txt Messenger enables users to send text messages to mobile phone users using their personal computer. In the US, Chikka already partnered with AT&T.

Is chikka head office in Manila or Singapore?

I had the impression that they are either singapore owned or pinoy owned.. Tho Im not sure which one it is

delay in receiving messages and the new

with the new feature anti-spam, why do they have to reply on chikka, before its ok how many text messages i am sending withtout any reply, one reply shoukd be fine. and sometimes they do not receive messages and there are also times that too much delay before they receive it..

the feature anti-spam isn't really helpful i think. maybe the anti spam should be implemented to international numbers wherein when they receive text messages, they get charged too. in phil, receiving messages are free so i guess it doesnt matter if u get messages alot right?
