A recent study shows that women are now as likely to use the Internet as men. This was compared to data from a few years back. The only difference is that women are more apt to use the web for emails, religious information, forums or online discussions on health or personal problems while men surf to check on the weather, news, sports, political and financial information as well as download software and music. The difference can be summarized as Men just want the facts while Women wants to talk about them. The same study has observed that a few years back, the gap was slightly higher wherein there were 61 percent of men against 57 percent of women. With the usage gaps closing in and with all the available information on the web, the internet has become so integrated in the lives of both men and women all over the world. Nowadays, no one is thinking about going on the Internet anymore. It has become part of our daily lives. From a simple people search, phone search or menu search to the rigors of job hunting, the internet practically makes the whole process enjoyable, if not, an easy process. |
