So... I finally saw the Batman today, on IMAX. Gotta love it on IMAX. If you haven't watch a movie on IMAX, they got huge display measuring 72x53 ft or larger. They have far greater size and resolution than conventional film display system. And the Batman film was modified for IMAX where it fills the whole display and sometimes switches to standard cinema wide. So when you're watching, you will be looking up, down, left, right... that's how huge it is.

As for the movie, it was long. The Joker in this Batman is darker than the previous ones. Heath's psychotic performance is best i've seen in villains. But I doubt he's gonna get an Oscar for it. As for the Batman, what's with the idea with the voice? I guess it just weird the way he talks when he's Batman. Maybe to help him conceal more his identity. Well, overall the movie is a great experience.

I'm a huge Michael Keaton's Batman fan but I have to say I am very impressed with Christian Bale and Nolan's direction.  Not overly excited with Bale's Batman voice though.  Batman channel's the dead not sounds like a hoarse rapper.

Ugh.  I hated the voice too --- it was too ... "growly" --- plus, too bad I didn't get the imax experience!   Embarrassed
