The urban landscape in India is currently undergoing a transmutation as the real estate wave engulfs low profile locations in Tier II and III cities like Kochi. Urbanization of India accounts for the rapidly increasing numbers of apartments and flats. The apartment culture was totally unfamiliar to an average Indian. However, now the trend has changed so radically.

The dream of every Kerala youth is to get a high paying job and buy a luxurious Kerala apartment located in one of the main cities of the state. The concept of an ideal home has changed from a sprawling single or double storied landed house to a high rise building with all modern amenities like shopping malls, swimming pools, gymnasium, jogging track and centralized air conditioning.

Many builders have come up with high-end flats and apartments to cater to these urbanized Indian. The facilities offered are often comparable with international standards. This is because a good number of their clients are NRIs in addition to the IT and other hi-tech professional sector.

Real estate developers have adopted the latest construction technology to projects which meet global standards. Supported by round-the clock power and water supply, contemporary architecture and state-of-the art facilities in aesthetically designed environs, Kerala’s real estate has much to offer.

With improved facilities and infrastructure queries from NRIs on investment in real estate are pouring in. the NRIs invest for personal use as well as investment. They have recognized the investment opportunities and the profit to be made.
