Greetings to all of the members of the NOBEL Profession "Teaching".

As I start out this string I want to encourage even the shy educators to contribute.  I am a retired USA educator.  I spent my career teaching and instructing using computer based software and networks to deliver very special information to very special students.

I now have moved to the Philippines to spend my remaining retired years here. I teach (for free) a group of young computer science graduates how to make Internet Web Pages and sell them for P300 one time payment.  I hope to open up a new career for Philippine young people that will allow them to stay in the Philippines with family and friends but still earn very good incomes from USA, UK, Canada, etc.

Often we teachers are not willing to express our views to others outside of our classrooms.  I pray we can use this forum to safely talk about our profession.

Let me get things started in this string by simply asking, anyone willing, to introduce themselves here.  This forum is not so overly active so we can easily do that.  If there were 10,000 members it would be a different story for sure.

See my resume at:

Thanks, and waiting to meet some new people here,
Barry

Hi Barry,

Welcome to the PinoyProfessionals.com Community Portal.

Actualy the site has been online for a couple of months while we're filling it up with more contents.
It was just officially launched last Friday and there was a good turn out on the number of new member professionals.

I can create a Teacher's forum and if you want I can set you up as a moderator for that forum.

Please feel free to contribute articles and invite professionals you know to join our online community.

Regards.

Ross;

I would be glad to do that.  If things get too active we can then select someone else to help me or take over the job.  It appears you have a good opportunity to help folks through this site.

I enjoyed the Dallas area when I worked at D/FW airport Simufite in the '80's and lived in Euless.  But this climate in the Philippines is much better.  Never to hot (no 105 F days), never too cold (no ice and snow).

Let me know what you think further, count me in.

Ok. I will create the Teacher's board and assign you as the moderator.

By the way, can you please limit you signature to 4 lines with just 2 links?
