Wow.. a 'plural family'.  That's one nice way of putting it.  As they say, what may work for Paul may not work for Peter.  I think it's nice that we have a different perpective on this issue out here.  Wish it didn't came off as an advertisement though.  I don't think anyone in this forum would want to talk you out of what you believe in.  Of course some may have some negative reactions to this while others just dont want to share their reactions at all.  But rest assured that most of us in here take things with a grain of salt. 

We believe in differing opinions.  If we all think alike, this world would just be a dull barren wasteland. 

The Bible is a great resource for research but who has the authority to have the right interpretations?  The Catholics?  The Baptists?  Mormoms?  Everyone believes that during end-of-days, they will be the only ones saved because they have interpreted the Bible.  If that's the case, either hell or heaven will be a lonely place or a crowded chaotic rendezvouz.

I think having a plural family for security just in case one leaves is kinda selfish.  But that's just me.  If my wife leaves me while I have three other wives, maybe I do deserved to be left by her.  And since I'm entitled to having 3 more wives, does that mean my wife can have 3 more husbands?  Gender equality.  If that's the case, wow.. that's a huge family you'll have.  Think of all the mothers-in law.  Oh wait.. that's karma.

And I'm not sure what you meant by 'God's blessing' to have a plural family.  The only religious denomination that handles that are the Mormons so that may entail converting to be with them.  Either that, or you make your own sect.  And there's other religions that allow that.  I guess that means more serious thinking for you.  Maybe you'd want to look at divorce while you're at it.

All I know is that raising a family - being singular or plural - requires a lot of love, devotion, and sacrifice.   It's not something you just put on and throw away afterwards.
