I have already tasted Gising-Gising at a Restaurant near quiapo bridge(Conception Carinderia). Its like a Sinigang sa Ulo ng Maya-Maya but with a green and red sili. The terms gising gising was brought out because it was best eaten after a drinking spree. Gising Gising is basically has a hot soup. You can use a big maya maya head or a tuna head. Hope this will help.

Thanks for the Trivia. I need to learn how to cook this. There's been a lot of drinking lately.
