I used to be a Ginebra fan while I was in my college days. lol  That was a LONG time ago.  I've heard a lot of issues they are having down there due to the Fil-Shams.  Too bad.  We have a lot of local talents that needs developing and these big corporations just show how greedy they are by importing Fil-Ams by the dozens.  Where's the fun in that?  One or two would be okay but half of the team?  Wow... kinda makes the local talent look like waterboys.

I don't disagree with you about getting the game up another level.  What I don't like is the fact that more fil-ams are dominating a team at any given time.  Say for example, a team is composed of 11 players, 6 of which are fil-ams.  There's a good chance that the first 5 would always be these fil-ams and there might be 3 of those local players that will never see any playing time at all.  Where's the development in that?  I say limit the number of fil-ams coming in.  If they are treating the fil-ams the way the league is treating the imports (salary wise, etc), then they should have limitations on how many of them can be on the floor at any given time.  I think that sounds fair.

But then again, the local players nowadays lack the heart of real players from yesteryears like Ramon Fernandez, Robert Jaworski, Freddie Hubalde, Philip Cesar, Atoy Co and company.  And yes, Ricardo Brown was a Fil-Am and I enjoyed watching him play.

Argh!! San Mig lost again.... two in a row. 2-2 now, im afraid they're gonna loose this one if they don't match up the energy Ginebra is giving. Ginebra fans are wild! It's like San Mig is playing as a visitor on Ginebra's turf...the fans owned the stadium.
