I had the chance to visit the Fort Worth Zoo sometime ago and one of the things I've noticed when I went to the Amphibians and Reptiles exhibit was a Philippine alligator.  No, I'm not talking about a Filipino congresman, senator or anyone involved in the Philipiine politics here.  I'm talking about a real live alligator, about a foot and a half long.  It makes me wonder how a place like Texas could help preserve some of our local fauna while the natural habitat in the Philippines is being destroyed.  Sad, isn't it?

I hope our government would seriously take up conserving our natural resources.  That said, I hope all the alligators, snakes, and other reptiles in the Philippine government would actually start helping the constituents they were suppose to serve.

Oh yes there is.  Smiley  I was as perplexed as you when I saw it.  Maybe I'd post the pictures I got over at the Gallery this weekend.  I know there are Philippine crocodiles as I've seen them when I was growing up but an alligator?  Really, I don't know the real difference between the two.
