Manny Pacquiao and Erik Morales will meet again on the ring.  For the third time around, two of the world’s greatest boxing champions will fight that will determine who really is the super featherweight champion.

In their first battle last 2005, Erik Morales won the fight over Manny Pacquiao with a 12-round unanimous decision. Morales victory revived his career in the boxing field. But last January 21, 2006, in their 2nd bout,  Manny Pacquiao dropped the great Morales twice that eventually lead to a 10th round stoppage which gave El Terrible his first-ever knockout loss.

Pacman’s youth and power began to take apart the Mexican legend. Surprisingly, El Terrible once again decided to have a rematch. Promoted by Top Rank, in association with Wynn Las Vegas, Pacquiao-Morales III will be a 12-round super featherweight bout, taking place Saturday, November 18, 2006 from the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, NV.

Both considered as great warriors of their homeland, the two will both fight for the title in the hope of bringing honor to their respective countries. Erik Morales, (48-4, 34 KOs), from Tijuana, Mexico, is recognized as one of the powerful boxers in the world.  On the other hand, our very own Manny Pacquaio (39-2-2, with 31 KO's), considered best pound for pound boxer today, is the No. 1 contender and mandatory challenger for the WBC super featherweight title.

Let us all watch PACMAN vs. EL TERIBBLE III: The Grand Finale and show our support to our country’s pride and hero. Pacman’s fight is our fight. Let us all pray for his victory, for his victory is our country’s victory as well.

PINOYS IN BOXING, HOW LONG WILL IT LAST ???? : corpus831
Hey Pinoys! I have a question. Is Pacquiao Like the first major boxer to put the pinoys on the boxing map? I'm mexican myself and work with many pinoys in the hospital and it seems like pacquiao is the only boxing hero that exists out there.

Anyway, Wouldn't it be a great match is he got to fight Oscar De La Hoya! Now there is a man that would really open a can of WOOP ASS on Pacquiao...

None the less I give you pinoys credit for rising in the sport of boxing but I dont think the pinoys will last in the sport of boxing, once pacquiao retires that will be the end of the pinoy era...if there was one to beging with.
