Job Responsibilities

• Massage soft body tissues to relieve discomfort and provide treatment for injuries, wellness maintenance, or medical conditions
• Apply pressure to specific parts of the body with the hands and fingers to release muscle tension and bring relief from related symptoms
• Discuss client concerns, medical histories, and specific stresses or pains to develop the most effective approach to massage treatment
• Travel to client homes/hotels as needed to provide professional massage services or meet with clients in a professional setting
• Assist in the promotion of the health and wellness benefits to clients receiving massage therapy regularly.
• Create excellent member/guest experience through friendly and helpful attitude
• Perform hot stone, deep muscle, or prenatal therapy, based on appropriate training and minimum clinic education hours
• Utilize other approved modalities per applicable law
• Communicate various promotions to clients
• Follow all practice policies and protocols.
• Assist in the cleanliness of the therapy rooms and common areas
• Complete Wellness Chart documentation accurately and completely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Skills & Qualifications

Required:

1. Trainee Massage Therapists
2. Experienced Massage Therapists

Minimum requirement: the ability to speak two or more languages, including English. 

Male and Female: 18-22 years of age. 

For Experienced Massage Therapists

• Hold a massage training certificate
• Ability to learn during continuous training
• Adhere to all current regulations and laws related to massage therapy
• Ability to handle sensitive client information with confidentiality

Preferred:

• Commitment to receiving continuing education
• Great customer service experience

The ability to engage in a professional and decent telephone conversation with clients is a must for a trainee and experienced massage therapist.
