Digital Marketing Specialist

A Digital Marketing Specialist provides support to the marketing team by providing practical advice across strategy, tactics and implementation of effective digital marketing activities across different business units.

The Digital Marketing Specialist must have experience in contemporary digital marketing as well as a keen interest in seeing effective digital marketing activities executed.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Digital Marketing

• Work on the entire Digital Marketing space including basic content writing
• Communicate and assist in implementing technology projects for the advancement of Digital Marketing strategies
• Ensure online campaign is kept up to date and in line with current promotions
• Developing, implementing and advising on best practice customer attraction and retention strategies, including process mapping of the customer inbound journey
• Developing creative, innovative and unique concepts for digital promotions and competitions and managing production and design
• Occasionally developing and drafting copy for different audiences and mediums, including EDMs, blogs, newsletters and white paper.

SEO/SEM

• Determine SEO strategies; launch, manage, and report on paid search engine campaigns
• Support strategic decisions based on website analytics and available sales data
• Development of landing pages and call to action strategies
• Managing and providing expert advice and guidance on AdWords campaigns including key word research, strategy and reporting
• Continuously enhancing SEO activities including auditing, identifying and solving problems

Email Direct Marketing (EDM)

• Support the release of Email Direct Marketing (EDM) and other online marketing strategies
• Managing all customer communication and electronic direct marketing initiatives. This would involve liaising with authors of content, proof reading, content refinement, briefing designers and developers, testing, sending and reporting
• Managing EDM database including segmentation, data collection and the development and management of the EDM calendar and EDM delivery

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• A Degree holder of any course; preferably Marketing (Brand Management/Public Relations)
• With at least 2 years of demonstrated experience in a similar role
• Knowledgeable in brand marketing, email marketing, search engine marketing and search engine optimization
• Working knowledge and exposure in SEO reporting and analytics and basic design skills
• Knowledge and familiarity with SEO “white hat” techniques and best practices in SEO/SEM
• Background in developing copy for blogs, whitepapers and articles involving conducting initial research as required
• Effective background and experience in managing EDM campaigns and lists in Campaign Monitor and implementing automation strategies
• Working experience with pay-for-performance search products such as Google AdWords, and other relevant search engine advertising tools
• Excellent understanding for setting up even tracking and conversion tracking in Google Analytics
• Knowledge and understanding in digital creatives: Flash, EDMs, Website and Mobile applications
• Familiarity with website technology and applications; background in Adobe CS6, Flash (Action script 3) and Illustrator is an advantage
• Additional proven knowledge and experience with HootSuite and management of social media channels is desired
• Ability to provide advice and insight into best practice digital marketing strategies and tactics Prior experience with a content automation system (HubSpot, Act/On, Marketo) is a plus
• Exposure and knowledge in A/B Testing is a plus
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement; strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills (Excellent public speaking ability)
• Google Certification is a plus
• Must be willing to work in Makati / BGC in an early morning shift (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
