News Article Rewriter/Writer

SALARY: Earn as much as Php 25,000 / Rate is on per article basis

EXPERIENCE LEVEL: 3-5++ years work experience as a writer

NUMBER OF WORDS: 300-400 (Rewrites) or 800 min. (Specials)

INDUSTRY: Publishing/Journalism/Mass Communication

TONE: Objective/Impersonal

JOB DUTIES:

• Create content for news and feature articles taken from international news websites in US, Canada, UK, etc. Articles submitted should be ORIGINAL and UNIQUE.

• Research source article to rewrite/rehash and  include related photos/illustrations to the rewritten article.

• The rewritten articles should be in a smooth flowing, news-like or feature style. Articles must be completed with good grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in Journalism, Communications, or a related discipline. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply!

• 3-5++ years of proven professional writing and editorial experience, including reporting, editing, proofreading, writing for the web. Experience in editing and proofreading print and online content is an advantage.

• Excellent English writing skills
