◄ Buying Defective Hard Disk Drive Seagate / Maxtor 40GB up IDE/SATA

How much will you pay for a 250GB defective Seagate IDE hard drive? I checked Seagate's website and it's under warranty until April 2010. No physical damage with stickers in tact. Drive won't format. If I can get a good price for it I'll sell it, if not I'll just mail it in to Seagate and sell the one they send me back.
