ARTICLE MONITOR

EXPERIENCE LEVEL: Entry Level

JOB DUTIES:

• Create infographics for the articles using our basic online tools (Canva, Tableau, etc.)

• Monitor, check, and ensure all articles are original and unique and are not copied or adapted from online or print sources (another website, blog, online newspaper articles, etc.) by running articles through a plagiarism tool

• Research relevant photos from our database and provide proper photo captions for the articles

• Ensure article format and contents are ready for publishing online

• Research and data gathering of information needed for the projects as instructed by the supervisor

• Assist the video editor for any task needed

• Other tasks that will be assigned from time to time 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Preferably a graduate of Mass Communication, Journalism, Graphic Design, or any related course

• Creative, open-minded, and able to translate into infographics the data/information from the articles

• Strong English skills with ability to work in a team environment

• Must have an excellent eye or attention to detail 

• Can work in a fast-paced environment and flexible in terms of tasks assigned

• Must be comfortable managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision
