WEB DESIGNER

A web designer develops and creates websites and associated applications. Web designers work in a variety of industries and often as independent contractors. Education requirements can vary, but web designers can get entry-level work with an associate's degree. Bachelor's degrees provide students with an expanded and advanced skill set that can lead to better job prospects or career advancement.

Job Description

• A web designer creates the look, layout, and features of a website.

• The job involves understanding both graphic design and computer programming.

• Once a website is created, a designer helps with maintenance and additions to the website.

• They work with development teams or managers for keeping the site up-to-date and prioritizing needs, among other tasks.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience or more

• Able to work with different softwares in creating web/graphic designs.

• Has advance knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite 4/5/6. CC especially  Photoshop, illustrator or equivalent.

• Has knowledge with web designing and Web 2.0 design (UI/UX/GUI)

• Possess strong web designing using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, macromedia flash, Macromedia dreamweaver, CSS, HTML, javascript.

• Ability to manipulate existing web graphics within Photoshop and Illustrator, can modify test, layers, trim backgrounds out of photos to leave only objects in foreground, etx.

• Able to convert PSD file to clean, semantic code, and alternatively, work without a PSD.

• Have the ability to manage multiple projects and remain flexible through multiple revisions while keeping a keen attention to detail.

• Responsive design is all about creating a homogeneous experience regardless of the browser or device screen size.
